Here’s How to Finalize Your Registration

STEP 1 - Finish, date, and sign your form

There are a few missing options at the bottom of your form that you need to fill out.

NOTE: If you were born before 1991 and lived in BiH at the time, you can vote in the elections.

Be sure to choose the correct options for your identifying documents below!

STEP 2 - Scan your form & documents (if registering electronically)

Take a picture or physically scan your documents (including your signed form) if you’ll submit your registration electronically. See Step 3 for methods to submit.

STEP 3 - Submit your form

Submit your scanned documents using one of the following methods:

• Electronically to the following email address:

  • prijavapp@izbori.ba

• Faxing to either of the following numbers:

  • +387 33 251-333

  • +387 33 251 -334

• Physical mail sent to the following address

  • Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina
    PO Box 451,
    71000 Sarajevo,
    Bosnia and Herzegovina

Options for Documentation

OPTION A - If you are a person or the descendant of a person who sought refuge outside of BiH (i.e. due to '92 - '95 war), you’ll need to submit:

1. Your form, signed and completed (signature must be identical to the signature on your submitted documentation).

2. A copy of one of a valid identification document from your host country/current country you’re living in (choose one of the following):

   • Refugee card issued by host government or another international organization

   • Passport

   • Driver’s licence

3. A copy of proof of BiH Citizenship (choose one of the following):

   • Certificate of citizenship (not older than 6 months)

   • Valid BiH Passport

4. A copy of proof of residence in BiH (choose one of the following):

   • Certificate of residence in BiH

   • Identity card in full from or before the 1991 census

     • If you do not have this document, don’t worry!
       You can be entered in the Central Voters Registry for the municipality that you had previously registered as your residence back then.

OPTION B - If you’re temporarily staying outside of BiH, you need to submit:

1. Your form, signed and completed (signature must be identical to the signature on your submitted documentation).

2. A copy of one of the valid BiH identification documents:

   • Identity card

   • Driver’s license

   • Passport
