Updates for the 2020 Local Elections in BiH
On May 7, 2020, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CECBiH we know, it’s long) passed the Decision on administering the Local Elections 2020 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initial election date was scheduled for October 4th, 2020.
On May 23, 2020, however, the CECBiH met again, and passed a decision to postpone the holding of the Local Elections in 2020.
The postponed elections will now be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Applications to vote in the upcoming elections are due to CECBiH no later than September 1st, 2020 at 24:00 CEST.
